You already made it once. Let it work for someone else.
Every teacher has spent a Sunday building something good — a simulation that finally made a concept land, a worksheet that worked better than the textbook’s. Then it sits in a folder, used by one class, in one room.
The library is where those things get a second life. You share what you built; you borrow what someone else built the week you’re out of hours. That’s the whole idea.
The week you’ll be glad it exists
A sub plan at 9pm. A unit you’ve never taught. A student who needs it explained a different way. Those weeks come for all of us — and a library only has something in it if teachers put something in it first.
Your name goes with it
Every resource is credited to you and your school. Colleagues, administrators, and teachers three districts over see who built it. Good work should have a name on it.
It gets better in the open
Another teacher tries your simulation with their class and tells you what confused them. That’s feedback you can’t get from your own students, who already heard you explain it.
A library grows one file at a time
Nobody can build a shared collection alone. Twenty teachers adding one thing each is a resource worth opening. One teacher adding twenty is just a folder.
Sharing takes about a minute
- 1 Upload as usual Your simulation or worksheet goes to your own folder, same as always.
- 2 Tick “share” Add a title, subject, and grade so the right teacher can find it.
- 3 We take a look A quick check for student names and broken links before anything goes public.
- 4 It’s in the library Credited to you, with a one-click embed code for any teacher’s course.
Before you ask — yes, we thought about that
- Sharing is per file. Nothing is shared unless you tick the box on that upload. Your other files stay private to you.
- You keep your work. Sharing gives other teachers permission to use it in their classrooms. It stays yours.
- Change your mind any time. Ask us to pull a resource and it comes down.
- Student privacy is checked. We review every submission before it goes public — but please look over your file for names and grades first.
- Only simulations and worksheets. Videos stay in your own folder.
Add one thing this week
Pick the lesson you were proudest of this year. Someone, somewhere, is about to teach that same topic on four hours’ sleep — and your file is the reason their Tuesday goes better than it would have.
