Skorra

🔒 No student names. No emails. No PII.

Classroom games that keep score, without keeping student data.

Skorra turns any lesson into a live, timed review game with a leaderboard on the projector and a gradebook behind it. Students sign in with a code and a PIN, never a name, so there’s nothing personal to protect.

How it works

Three minutes from lesson notes to a live game.

Make a quiz

Type questions, paste from a spreadsheet, or let the built-in AI draft them from your notes. Six question types, images, and explanations that teach.

Hand out codes

Print login cards for a period in one click. Each student gets a code and PIN that match your own roster order, so you never type a name.

Play live

Students race on Chromebooks or phones. The projector board moves as they answer. Speed bonuses, streaks, and a “new best” moment keep every student in it.

Grade in seconds

Best scores land in a gradebook in roster order, scaled to your points, grouped by unit. Export to CSV and paste into your district gradebook.

Built so there’s nothing to leak

Most classroom tools collect names and emails and then promise to protect them. Skorra doesn’t collect them in the first place.

✅

What Skorra stores

A random student code tied to your roster number, a scrambled PIN, a random nickname for the leaderboard, and game scores. That’s the whole list.

🚫

What it never asks for

Student names, email addresses, school ID numbers, birthdates, photos, or accounts. Students can’t type them in anywhere.

🧑‍🏫

You keep the key

Code 3-07 is the seventh student on your roster. That list stays with you, on paper or in your gradebook, never on our servers.

No ads, no tracking

No advertising, no third-party analytics, nothing sold or shared. Policies written in plain English for the people who have to approve them.

Everything a review day needs

Made by a classroom teacher for the way class actually runs.

📝

Six question types

Multiple choice, select all, number with tolerance, typed answer with a word bank, put in order, and match pairs. Partial credit where it makes sense.

✨

AI question drafts

Paste notes or a topic and get a reviewable draft with explanations. You edit, you approve, then it’s a game.

📺

Live projector board

Running scores while students play, a finished leaderboard, and a team board that averages members so everyone counts.

📊

Gradebook with units

Points per game, unit totals, best or latest score, blank or zero for unplayed, CSV export in roster order.

🔁

Attempts and retakes

Limit attempts per game and set a retake password. Walk over, type it once, and that one student gets another try.

🧠

Question results

See which questions the class missed before tomorrow’s warm-up. Fix a bad answer key and regrade everyone in one click.

🗂️

Question bank and sharing

Every question you write is saved for reuse. Share your best ones with other teachers and see how often they’re used.

🎮

Bring your own games

Upload any HTML game and it reports scores to the same gradebook. A short guide lets an AI adapt games you already have.

Questions teachers and IT ask

Do students need accounts or email addresses?

No. The teacher prints a card with a class code, a student code, and a PIN. That’s all a student ever enters. There’s no sign-up and no email.

How do I know which student is “3-07”?

Codes are numbered in your roster order: 3-07 is the seventh student on your Period 3 list. You keep that list; Skorra never sees it. The gradebook and CSV export come out in the same order, so they line up with your roster.

What does the district need to approve?

Skorra collects no student PII, shows no ads, and uses no third-party tracking, so most reviews are short. Everything runs over HTTPS on US-based infrastructure. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is stored and every service provider involved.

What does it cost?

Lite is free and includes the quiz maker, uploads, live board, and gradebook with usage limits. Premium removes the limits and adds question results, teams, schedules, the shared library, and CSV export. Schools can license Premium for their teachers.

Can I reuse a game next year?

Yes. Games, units, points, and your question bank stay. A one-click “new school year” clears periods and scores so you start clean, and “clear scores” resets a single game.

Try it with one class this week.

Free to start. No student data to collect, no forms to send home.
