Sleedu Professional Development, provided by WIN ELEMENTS LLC, also provides an e-commerce website, winelements.com, hosted on separate servers.

We are a proud supporter of the Student Privacy Pledge, and we have taken the Student Privacy Pledge to use students’ and our user’s data from our services that are dedicated to supporting instruction and learning opportunities to develop and improve our product/services intended for educational/school use. We collect your name, email address, username name, password, avatar, and user-generated content only for the purposes that were authorized by the educational institution/agency, teacher, or parent/student. Once a user is enrolled in a course, we track and retain related records of the user’s interactions with all activities of a course, which is the primary function of our service, an online Learning Management System. The teacher of the course will only view their students’ data to serve students’ learning better. 

2. What personal information do we collect from the Teacher User?

We collect your name, email address, username name, password, avatar, and user-generated content. When a teacher signs up for a Teacher Account on winelements.com, a third-party PayPal service or STRIPE collects and processes your billing address and credit card information.  

3.  How do we use your information?

3.1 From You – When you create an account as a student or a teacher, we ask for your name, username, password, and email address to create your account. Additionally, you may upload an avatar on your user profile.

3.2 Information automatically collected. To provide a personalized learning experience for our users, we automatically collect certain types of usage information from your browser or device (such as but not limited to, log file, Internet Protocol (IP) address, device or browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), the dates and times that you visit the Website). We may use cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to record current session information. Cookies are used to track login sessions and collect anonymous traffic data.  We may also collect Google Analytics data to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. We also collect information about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you view, Activities you use, other interactions) and your usage of the Service over time. We may collect log file information from your browser or mobile device each time you access the Services. We do not allow third-party advertising networks to collect information about our website users.

We use a variety of third-party service providers (such as, for example,  YouTube to host our videos and/or Google Analytics to understand our Website usage.

4.1 Student and Other Users. Students and other users may access the website using personally identifiable information (such as username, email, and password). We strictly maintain the confidentiality of Student Data, and we do not use Student Data for any purpose other than to provide the Service.

We use or may use data collected through cookies, log files, and device identifiers to (1) remember information so that a user’s progress from activities is saved so the user can continue where the user left off; (2) to record user’s achievement and other records when they interact with the Service; (3) to diagnose and fix technological problems;  and/to (4) to help users access information more efficiently.

When you interact with the Service, the information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.  Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider (including, but not limited to, Stripe and PayPal) and are not stored or processed on our servers.

We use Google Placement-Targeted Ads on our e-commerce/online store hosted on a separate server (winelements.com), our primary stores, and a blog where teachers can buy a subscription and other products to support. Only on winelements.com, WE use Google Ads to serve ads when you visit my website. Google may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. 14. Change of Business, including a merger or acquisition.

In the event that WIN ELEMENTS LLC ( including its services, but not limited to Sleedu.com and winelements.com), we may transfer or assign the information that we have collected from users as part of such acquisition, merger, or any other change of control. However, we will only contract with future companies that are consistent with Pledge principles or allow users a choice to send information to the future identity.

Students, their parent, or their authorized parent will have access to review, make changes, or correct student’s personally identifiable information using students’ login information.

16. Data Retention

We will not retain students’ personal information for longer than necessary to deliver services or for educational purposes providing our service. Users may request to delete their accounts at any time. 

17. Notice and Choice

At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to modify, change, add, or remove portions of the Terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Please check the Terms and any Guidelines periodically for any changes. Also, we will email users and announce any changes to our Privacy Policy on our website.  By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
