How to Add a Google Form to Your Sleedu Course
This tutorial shows you how to link a Google Form inside a Sleedu course using the URL resource. The same steps work for any web link — videos, articles, shared documents, sign-up sheets, and more.
1Turn on Edit mode
Open your course in Sleedu and switch on the Edit mode toggle in the top-right corner of the page. You can only add resources while editing is on.
2Add an activity or resource
Scroll to the section of the course where you want the form to appear. Click the + button, then choose Activity or resource.
3Select the URL resource
In the activity chooser, click the Resources tab, then select URL.
4Open your Google Form
In another browser tab, open the Google Form you want to share. Make sure the form is finished and, if you collect email addresses, that the settings are the way you want them.
5Copy the responder link
In the Google Form toolbar, click the link icon (🔗) labeled Copy responder link. This copies the address students will use to fill out the form.
Tip: Make sure the form is Published and available to respondents, or students will see a permission error when they click the link.
6Name the resource and paste the link
Back in Sleedu, fill in the General settings:
Name — what students will see in the course (for example, Assignment Extension or Make-Up Work Request).
External URL — paste the responder link you copied in Step 5.
Then scroll down and click Save and return to course.
7Done! Check the link in your course
The Google Form now appears as a clickable link in your course section. Turn off Edit mode and click the link to confirm it opens the form correctly.
