Cloze Questions: Fill in Table Math

Cloze questions in course can be created as follows:

1. Log in to your course page.
2. Click on the “Turn editing on” button in the top right corner.
3. From the “Add an activity or resource” dropdown menu, select “Quiz.”
4. Give your quiz a name and description, then scroll down to the “Questions” section.
5. Click on the “Add a new question” dropdown menu and select “Cloze.”
6. Enter the text for the question, including the parts to be blanked out within double curly braces (e.g. {{blank}}).
7. Within the curly braces, specify the type of question and answer format (e.g. {{c1::answer}} for multiple choice or {{#answer}} for numerical answers).
8. Add feedback for correct and incorrect answers.
9. Click on the “Save changes” button to save your question.
10. You can add more questions to your quiz by clicking on the “Add a new question” dropdown menu and repeating the process.
11. When you’re finished, click on the “Turn editing off” button in the top right corner
