Crispy Japanese Fried Pork

  • 20 mL of milk
  • 1 egg
  • 40 gram of cake flour
  1. Combine and whisk to mix all ingredients above well
  • 1/3-inch thick pork tenderloin cut
  • salt
  • pepper
  1. Pound the tenderloin
  2. Season with salt and pepper on both side
  3. Coat pork with batter and then with bread crumbs


  1. Pour vegetable oil into a cast-iron skillet up to 1/3 filled, higher will be splash during frying
  2. Heat oil to 350 F
  3. Fry 5-8, depending on the thickness of the cut, until golden brown
  4. Remove and check internal temperature for 165 F
  5. Repeat and fry other batches.
